May 2019 Newsletter

Happy May! April certainly kept me on my toes! After six extra religious services, a last minute choir concert, and wildly fluxuating weather, I’m ready for a reprieve and some warmer temperatures to let me enjoy the outside world again!

Last week, I was pleased to create my second Style Profile for my favorite clothing boutique Fresh Collective (see my previous Style Profile here)! We managed to go outside for our photo shoot, despite the chilly temperature, and I modeled some beautiful pieces from some of my favorite designers. Stay tuned for the full interview and photo collection! This coming month, my biggest project will be preparing for another concert with my friends at the Etobicoke Centennial Choir. The last concert of their season, “After the Rain” welcomes Spring with floral-themed works by Lauridsen, Byrd, Delibes, and more! We’ll also be collaborating with Toronto’s own Anton Apostolov (guitarist, composer) and his Balkania Ensemble for a rousing set of pieces sung in English and Bulgarian. I haven’t yet sung in Bulgarian, so this will be a new challenge!

“After the Rain” will take place at 7:30 on Saturday, June 1st at the Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke. Tickets are available online or at the door. I hope you’ll join us!

Wishing you a beautiful Spring!
