November News

How are you?

What a year this has been – I hope that you’ve made it through relatively unscathed.

One of my goals with singing is to spread more joy in the world and I feel so lucky to have been able to continue to do so throughout this year. Not that this has been an easy task – learning to navigate digital platforms and programs has been quite the challenge, but the rewards are still coming out on top! My virtual concert with Opera Sustenida has been watched over 300 times now and I’m reaching hundreds of people all over the world through livestreamed services at St John’s United and Beth Sholom for the High Holidays. I could never have reached so many viewers in a conventional live concert by myself!

Of course, I really miss interacting with real, live humans, especially when performing. I look forward to times when I’ll be able to sing and teach in person and travel and give hugs to my friends and family (heck, I’d like to just visit my friends and family!) and all of those other “normal” things that we’re missing right now.

But I digress.

The main reason that I’m writing today is to let you know of a new product that I’ve created on my website. As my teaching studio will be online exclusively for the foreseeable future, I’m able to teach students anywhere in the world! Though online lessons are by no means a complete substitute for in-person lessons, there is something unique about having the internet as a fourth wall between the student and teacher. There’s a level of comfort and ease when the student is in their own home and has a kind of buffer between us.

This holiday season, I’m offering gift certificates of 4 lessons each, which can be in voice, piano, violin, flute, or a combination of instruments! I welcome all ages and levels, and I love the opportunity to connect with another person and to share the joy of music with them during our lessons. I’ve designed four holiday-themed gift certificates to choose from and I hope that you will be inspired to share the joy of music with a loved one (or gift yourself, why not?)!

Gift certificates can be purchased here, or you can reply to this email for more information.

As my American friends and family will be celebrating Thanksgiving this month, please allow me to extend a special Thank You to you for joining me on my musical and personal journey! I consider you one of my many blessings and I’m honored to be a part of your life.

Wishing you a peaceful transition into the holidays,
Daniella
